Two Terre Haute residents were arrested Thursday on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine just blocks from a preschool.
Indiana State Police said an investigation led them to the 3200 block of N. 23rd Street in Terre Haute on Thursday morning. There, according to the police report, they found an active "one pot" meth lab and remnants of multiple other "one pot" labs.
Police also said they found five grams of methamphetamine, assorted narcotic pills and numerous items associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Matthew E. Buell, 35, and Kimberly M. Kozik, 36, both of Terre Haute, were arrested on multiple charges, including manufacturing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a daycare or preschool, possession of methamphetamine, and dumping controlled waste.
