SPEEDWAY, Ind. - A Speedway father was arrested and charged in connection with pointing a gun at his 14-year-old daughter’s head as he threatened to kill her Thursday evening, police said.
The incident happened in the 2300 block of North Lynhurst Drive just after 8 p.m.
Ronnie Brashear, 43, also aimed the gun at his wife's face and threatened to kill them both, police said.
Authorities said Brashear was drunk and eventually put down the gun and waited in his car for police to arrive.
Brashear was charged with criminal confinement, intimidation, pointing a firearm and criminal recklessness, police said.
