INDIANAPOLIS - A 20-year-old woman was killed Saturday after an apparent fight with her boyfriend, police said.
Indianapolis police were called to the 3300 block of Devereaux Drive after receiving a report of a person shot just before 4 p.m., a media advisory said.
When officers arrived, they found Dymun Johnson, 20, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the entryway of the home.
Medics arrived on the scene and pronounced Johnson dead.
A short time later, Jordan Dugar-Loy, 20, returned to the residence and was arrested on a murder charge after an interview with homicide detectives, police said.
The media advisory said that the victim and Dugar-Loy were in a relationship, and this incident was domestic in nature.
Dugar-Loy was being held without bond Sunday in the Marion County Jail.
