INDIANAPOLIS - A search warrant on the house of a convicted felon Thursday turned up methamphetamine, marijuana and more than a dozen illegally owned guns, police said.
Officers from IMPD's criminal interdiction unit, as well as officers from the DEA and IMPD's violent crime unit, served a warrant on a house on the 1500 block of North Fenwick Avenue as part of a narcotics investigation, IMPD officials said.
Inside the house, officers found more than two pounds of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana and 13 firearms with ammunition. Officers also seized several vehicles, as well as a stolen Harvey Davidson motorcycle.
The house was located just across the street from Trinity Lutheran School on the far-east side.
Police arrested Eddie Allen, 48, who confessed to dealing meth from the house as well as illegally owning the guns, according to a police report. His wife, Marcella Rubio-Allen, 50, was also arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine.
