ANDERSON, Ind. -
A homeless man was arrested in connection to a stabbing investigation in Anderson, Madison County officials said.
Anderson police officers responded to a 911 call for help in the 2100 block of Pearl Street Wednesday night. When they arrived at the scene, they were met by a man identified as Timothy Haney who was covered in blood, police said.
Haney, 58, told police that he had just stabbed someone, detectives said.
When officers entered the home, they found a man who had been stabbed several times. The victim told police that Haney had stabbed him. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Haney was taken to the Madison County Detention Center on felony charges of aggravated battery.
Investigators said they suspect the stabbing was the result of a dispute between the two men.
