FARMERSBURG, Ind. - Police have released a surveillance picture that they hope leads to the arrest of a man who robbed a Sullivan County bank Monday morning.
The First Financial Bank at 819 W. Main St. in Farmersburg was robbed just after 10 a.m.
Police said a black man between 6 feet to 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds came into the bank through the front door and handed a teller a note demanding money.
The man was given an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank northbound on U.S. 41, Indiana State Police said. He was driving a dark four-door car driven by another person.
No one was injured in the robbery and no customers were in the bank at the time, police said.
Investigators believe the man may have a skin condition. He was wearing a black Chicago White Sox cap, aviator-style sunglasses and a white, long-sleeve shirt under a blue T-shirt.
The man had white gloves on his hands and was wearing baggy sweatpants.
Police asked anyone with information to call ISP Detective Tom Hanks at 765-653-4114.
