Police: Indianapolis man arrested for making bomb threat

CASS COUNTY, Ind. - State police said a reported bomb threat made to the Logansport State Hospital landed an Indianapolis man behind bars early Tuesday morning.

Indiana State Police (ISP) said at roughly 7 p.m. Monday, a man called Logansport State Hospital threatening to blow up the facility. The man also placed a call to the hospital threatening to hurt himself.

At roughly 1 a.m. Tuesday, investigators headed to a home at 3364 Forest Manor Ave. in Indianapolis and arrested Dominique Fisher, 21.

Investigators said evidence showed Fisher was upset with staff members at the hospital because they would not allow him to speak on the phone with a patient in the hospital who Fisher knew.

ISP said Fisher was held in the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center, facing a felony charge for false reporting.
