JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. -
Johnson County police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a CVS pharmacy Thursday evening.
Just before 8 p.m., police were sent to the 400 block of Market Place Drive on reports of a man inside the store with a gun.
Witnesses said they saw a white Chevrolet Impala sedan pull up to the CVS Pharmacy drive-through window minutes before the incident.
One witness said the suspects entered the store through the drive-through window before ordering employees to get on the floor and demanding the pharmacist to remove Oxycontin and Oxycodone from the store's safe.
The suspected robber filled a backpack with medications from the safe before fleeing the store by jumping through the drive-through.
Police said witnesses described the suspected robbers as white men, but the vehicle spotted leaving the store was driven by two black men.
Johnson County Police said no arrests have been made in the case and that they are still searching for the men involved in the robbery.
No employees were harmed in the incident. Police asked anyone with information about the robbery to call investigators at 317-346-4604.
