INDIANAPOLIS - One person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting on the city's east side Tuesday night.
Indianapolis police were called to the 1800 block of Edinburge Square in the Wellington Village apartment complex, near 16th Street and Franklin Road, just after 8 p.m. after multiple reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found four males with gunshot injuries.
One man, who was later identified as Michael Baker, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene, police spokesman Officer Kendale Adams said.
The three other victims were all in stable condition Wednesday afternoon.
Adams said investigators are still trying to determine a possible motive for the shooting.
Investigators are canvassing the neighborhood and interviewing witnesses.
Police have not determined yet if the victims are residents at the apartment complex or were visiting.
