INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis police are investigating after a person was fatally shot on the city's north side Thursday.
Officers were called to the 3800 block of North Eastern Avenue just after 2 p.m. on a report of a person shot.
The victim, identified as Mitchell Lane, 19 of Indianapolis, was found shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are looking for a white, four-door Chrysler 300 with tinted windows and a paper license plate in the back window of the driver's side.
