Police investigate shooting that sent 2 men to hospital Sunday night

Police found two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds at the Columbia Avenue location.

INDIANAPOLIS - Metro police are investigating a double shooting that happened Sunday night on the city's east side.
Officers responded to the 2700 block of Columbia Avenue and the 2500 block of Andrew J Brown Drive just before 10 p.m. Police received calls saying that someone had been shot at both locations.
When officers arrived, they found two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds at the Columbia Avenue location.
Both men were taken to the hospital.
One victim, who was shot in the head, was listed in stable condition.
The second victim, who was shot in the upper chest, was listed in critical condition.
Police did not release the identities of the victims.
