HENRYVILLE, Ind. - Authorities in southern Indiana have arrested a man accused of scamming Henryville tornado victims.

Karl Ray was arrested Wednesday in Clark County. He is facing multiple fraud charges, WHAS-TV reported.

Prosecutors said Ray promised several Henryville tornado victims repairs and never finished the work, but did take their money.

Police said Ray did similar things in Louisville, Ky.

Three families said Ray promised them roof work that was never completed.

Ray was scheduled to appear in court Friday in Clark County.

March tornadoes killed 13 people and injured dozens more in Indiana.
