INDIANAPOLIS - Police began searching a north-side area early Thursday morning after a robbery was reported.
Dispatchers at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) confirmed that just after 3 a.m. Thursday, officers were sent to investigate a report of a robbery.
Victims told investigators someone robbed them in the area of 71st Street (Westlane Road) and Michigan Road. Officers began searching the area soon after.
Police said the victims may have known the robber. No details were available on the robber's identity or characteristics.
