Police have arrested a woman in connection with a hit-and-run that seriously injured a 15-year-old Sunday night.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 3500 block of Foltz Street and found a teenager with injuries sustained by a pickup truck.

The victim was taken to Riley Hospital in critical condition.

Witnesses told police that four teenagers were walking south in the northbound easement of Foltz Street when a white Ford truck traveling south veered at the teenagers and struck one of the teens.

The truck then kept going, not stopping to help. The other three teenagers were not injured.

Detectives later found the vehicle in the 3400 block of Mann Road, less than a mile away.

IMPD announced it arrested 30-year-old Jessica McClellan in connection with the hit-and-run. McClellan was preliminarily charged with driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident causing injury.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
