Police: Man wore sunglasses, hoodie in robbery

PLAINFIELD, Ind. - Police released surveillance pictures of a man who they said robbed a bank late Saturday morning in Plainfield.

The robbery happened about 11:20 a.m. at the First Financial Bank at 2485 E. Main St.

Police described the suspect as white, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and between 150 to 180 pounds.

The man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and sunglasses.

A bank employee told police that the man approached with his hand in his pocket but that he did not display a weapon.

The man demanded money and left the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police asked anyone with information to call them at 317-839-8700.
