INDIANAPOLIS -

An Indianapolis man was arrested after he was accused of driving over his girlfriend's legs during a domestic dispute.

On Nov. 29, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers were called to a home in the 700 block of Grant Avenue on reports of an assault.

Police found a woman suffering from several injuries and she told investigators she had been beaten by her boyfriend the day before and that he drove over her legs after she tried to escape him, IMPD officers said.

Michael Miller, 44, was tracked down and taken into custody Tuesday on charges of attempted murder, criminal confinement and battery.

Prosecutors said Miller was being held at the Marion County Processing Center on a $200,000 bail.
