INDIANAPOLIS - Police are looking for a man who exposed himself to a woman and her child at a hotel on the city’s northwest side.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the incident happened at the Embassy Suites hotel in the 3900 block of Vincennes Road on the morning of Sept. 19.
A Kansas woman staying at the hotel was in the pool area with her 18-month-old daughter. She told police the male suspect approached her and exposed himself.
The woman told police she assumed it was a wardrobe malfunction and informed the male who quickly corrected the problem, a police report said.
The woman and her daughter moved to the other side of the pool, and less than five minutes later, the suspect approached them and exposed himself again, police said.
"Are you serious?" the woman said and the suspect left the area, the report said.
Witnesses saw him head to the north parking lot and get into a white 2001 to 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier with Illinois license plates.
Police said the suspect has been seen at multiple hotels on the city’s north and northwest side attempting to gain access to pool areas.
The suspect was described as a heavyset black male in his 30s.
