INDIANAPOLIS - Police said a man wearing a gold Elmer Fudd hat robbed a bank Friday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the Chase Bank in the 9900 block of East Washington Street just before 9:30 a.m.
An employee described the robber as a black male between the ages of 25 to 30.
According to a news release, the man passed a note indicating he had a gun and demanded money.
The bank teller acknowledged the demands and handed him an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect then fled the scene in a late-modeled red Chevrolet Blazer. The car was last seen traveling west from the bank’s location, police said.
No injuries were reported.
