Police release sketch of Westfield robbery suspect

WESTFIELD, Ind. - Westfield police have released a sketch of the suspect in the Aug. 31 robbery of a local bank.

Police said the suspect entered the Community Bank located at 144 W. Main St., Westfield, shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 31 and demanded money. Witnesses said the man told them he had a gun, but never displayed one.

The suspect is described as a black male between 20-30 years old. He was wearing dark pants and a dark shirt.  His face was covered by a white bandana or pillow case.

Witnesses said the suspect entered an older white minivan and fled the area.

A composite sketch was released Saturday of a "person of interest" in the case. The man in the sketch is described as a clean-shaven black male, 30-35 years old, approximately 6'1" and 200 pounds.
