2 killed in east side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS - Police are investigating a shooting on the east side that left two men dead Tuesday night.
Police were dispatched to the 4000 block of Brentwood Drive, near Post Road and 42nd Street, after 6 p.m. on reports of gunfire.
Dominique Jenkins, 21, was shot in the face and was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
Charles Nelson, 25, was shot in a lower extremity and was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
