INDIANAPOLIS -- One person is in critical condition after they were found with a gunshot in the chest just blocks away from 38th street Sunday afternoon.
Police say they aren't sure exactly where the shooting happened, but it did not happen on the Indiana State Fairgrounds property.
Officers said they found the victim in a car that was driving toward Coliseum Avenue.
It is not clear if the victim was the driver or passenger.
The victim was transported to Eskenazi Health and is in critical condition.
Police are looking for the shooter.
