INDIANAPOLIS -

Police are looking for a vehicle that was stolen from a woman who was assaulted.

Police were called to an apartment in the 800 block of North Shortridge road Monday afternoon, where they found a 60-year-old woman who was bleeding and had contusions.

The woman was taken to Methodist Hospital, and she was still in serious condition Wednesday night, police said.

The woman's green 2002 Chevrolet Tracker SUV was stolen, and police think it was taken by the same person or people who assaulted the woman.

The vehicle's Indiana license plate number is 220AXO, and the last four digits of the VIN are 4784.

Anyone with information about this incident or the vehicle’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS. Callers can also text “INDYCS” and their tip information to 274627.
