Police search for missing 10-year-old boy

INDIANAPOLIS - Police are asking for help in locating a missing 10-year-old boy.

Dylon Mitchell, 10, has been missing since about 5:45 p.m. Monday in the area of Harrison Mobile Home Park at Rockville Road and Lynhurst Drive.

Dylon is a white male who is about 5 feet tall and weighs roughly 75 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.

Dylon was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt with possibly a black and white checkered pullover and gray skinny jeans. He also was wearing one white tennis shoe. 

Dylon was sighted around 7:45 p.m. trying to cross I-465 heading west close to Rockville Road, but fled into a wooded area. 

Police have received information from residents that leads them to believe he may be back in area of the trailer park. 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dylon Mitchell is asked to immediately call IMPD dispatch.
