LINTON, Ind. - State and local police are searching for a 19-year-old southern Indiana woman who was last heard from in a Facebook post three nights ago.
Linton police detective Duane Collenbaugh tells The Herald-Times that Katelyn Wolfe was last seen walking near the local Dairy Queen about 2 a.m. Thursday.
Collenbaugh says Wolfe posted on her Facebook page about 3 a.m. Thursday, and police have not been able to find anyone who has spoken to Wolfe since then. None of her family or friends have reported seeing her.
The Facebook post indicated someone was following her, saying in part, "Out on a walk with creeps that keep driving by."
Wolfe's father reported her missing to Linton Police at 10 p.m. Thursday.
Wolfe is 5-feet-2-inches tall, has black hair and wears glasses and a nose ring. Police believe she may be wearing a black and white striped shirt and blue jeans.
