FISHERS, Ind. -

Fishers police are searching for a suspect wanted for questioning in connection with a home invasion that happened more than five months ago.

On May 10, police responded to a call about a home invasion in the 13000 block of Cresswell Place after reports that a woman was assaulted in her home.

The woman told police that she was sleeping alone in her master bedroom when a man entered the room demanding money. According to police reports, he pushed her into the bathroom and shut the door.

The woman waited until he left her home before she activated her alarm system.

During the initial investigation, the woman discovered several pieces of jewelry missing and her laptop computer. Detectives said the suspect may have entered the home by breaking a basement window.

After getting a description of the suspect from the woman, police issued an arrest warrant for Victor Manual Torres-Martinez.

Police said Torres-Martinez is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing dark pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a mask.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Torres-Martinez is encouraged to call 911.
