INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are searching for a gunman a woman was found shot and killed inside a crashed vehicle on the city's west side.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say the woman appeared to have been shot before the crash.
Police were called to the intersection of West Michigan Street and North Belmont on Saturday evening where the woman's body was found inside a vehicle.
The death is being investigated as a homicide. The victim has not been identified.
Police have not released any information about a possible suspect.
