Police seek suspect in fatal June 24 shooting

Dante Nichols, 30, considered armed and dangerous

INDIANAPOLIS - Police are looking for a man they say is connected to a June 24 homicide.

IMPD homicide detectives are looking for Dante Nichols, 30, on suspicion of murder related to the fatal shooting of Carlton Jenkins, 34.

Jenkins was found dead in a car in the 3800 block of North Layman Avenue on the evening of June 24.

A second victim, Brian Ligon, 34, was found in the street nearby, suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police said Nichols is considered armed and dangerous.
