INDIANAPOLIS - A 23-year-old man has been arrested after police said he was streaking with his dog in tow through the Broad Ripple shopping and restaurant area.
Witnesses called police around 9:30 Wednesday night saying a nude man was running with his dog eastbound in the 1100 block of Broad Ripple Avenue.
Officers then arrived and found the naked man and his dog in the 1600 block of Broad Ripple Avenue.
Police wrote in their arrest report that they asked him why he was naked, and he answered that it was hot outside.
The man also told them he had eaten "shrooms" or hallucinogenic mushrooms, officers said. He indicated he had taken them in smaller quantities in the past.
An ambulance was called when he reported difficulty breathing. He was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Charges of public indecency were filed against Kyle Deetz, 23, of Compton Street in Indianapolis.
Animal control workers took his dog to the city pound for holding, pending his release from jail.
