INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman shot a man after an argument on Indianapolis' east side Friday afternoon.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Woodlawn Avenue.
The pair drove a stolen car from Lafayette, according to IMPD, and the shooting happened after the man came out of a house and started arguing with the woman. The woman, who was still in the car, shot through the window at the male during the argument.
The shooting victim was taken to Eskenazi for emergency surgery.
The woman is in custody.
Police have not released the identities of either, nor have they discovered a motive.
The incident remains under investigation.
