LINTON, Ind. --  Will he or won't he?

The speculation over whether Governor Mike Pence will be Donald Trump's running mate continues to heat up.

Pence and the First Lady walked in the Linton Freedom Festival Parade Monday morning.

RTV6's Rafael Sanchez caught up with Pence and asked him whether he was offered a spot on the Republican ticket.

Governor Pence and Donald Trump met over the weekend in New Jersey.

Pence didn't deny that he was interested in being Trump's running mate, but avoided answering the question directly.

Instead, he talked about the personal nature of their visit and his support of Donald Trump.

"We talked a lot about his vision for this country. We talked a lot about the progress we've made in this state," Pence said.

Trump tweeted about the meeting on Monday

The Associated Press reports that Trump's potential list of running mates includes Pence, former House speaker Newt Gingrich, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions.
