Life without parole sought in infant's death

INDIANAPOLIS -- Marion County prosecutors will seek life without parole for a man accused of beating a 2-year-old to death.

Diquan Williams, 21, is charged with murder, neglect of a dependent and battery resulting in death to a person less than 14 years old in connection with the death of 2-year-old Cameron Parks in October.

Doctors determined Parks had injuries all over his body, including a bruised lung and injuries to his brain.

According to court documents, Williams admitted to pushing and punching the boy multiple times, causing him to fall to the floor and cry out.

Parks' mother, Dominique Parks, is also charged with two counts of neglect of a dependent resulting in death, and one count of neglect of a dependent, for her son's death.
