INDIANAPOLIS -- Prosecutors are making a new push to keep a former Park Tudor basketball coach behind bars.
They filed an emergency appeal Tuesday in the case of Kyle Cox.
Cox faces charges of trying to coerce a student to have sex.
He resigned from the Park Tudor last December once the student's father brought the issue to the school's attention.

Cox apparently signed a confidentiality agreement promising no contact with the school or students.
But the government says he reached out to his alleged victim and asked her to lie, and encouraged a male student to physically attack her.
The government says Cox's actions, "Show an utter disregard for the health, safety, reputation and welfare of child victim 1 and other students close to her. He presents an unacceptable danger if released."
Prosecutors went to to say:
He abused a position of trust and he possesses untreated sexual attraction to a minor. These facts show that his family ties, length of time in the community, former employment had no impact on preventing his criminal behavior.
A federal magistrate was going to release Cox to his parents but decided to wait until she heard from prosecutors.
The government does argue, that if Cox is to be released, it should not be to his parents because they both work and would be unable to watch over him.
