INDIANAPOLIS - Some Purdue University engineering majors are showing off their creative sides with a catchy parody video staring the school's new president.
"This Is Engineering," an elaborate take on Mackelmore and Ryan Lewis' hit "Thrift Shop," features students rapping about code, calculus and campus antics.
Former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels makes several cameos, wearing sunglasses and even lip synching a line with the students.
The video had already racked up more than 97,000 views on YouTube as of Wednesday afternoon.
