WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue University announced Monday that they will be freezing tuition rates again through the 2018-19 year.

Tuition for Indiana residents will remain at roughly $10,000, out-of-state students will pay around $28,800 and international students will pay around $30,800.

Purdue President Mitch Daniels said room and board costs will also remain at their 2012-13 rates or lower.

Because of their lower rates, Purdue said students attending the university borrow less money than the average student.

Purdue will also be offering a 2.5 percent merit raise pool for employees for 2017.
