PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. - A 20-year-old Putnam County man is accused of repeatedly having sex with a girl, beginning when she was 14.
The investigation began after the Putnam County Department of Child Services received a tip about the abuse of a now-15-year-old girl.
Police said Michael E. Fife, 20, of Reelsville, had sex with the girl several times, beginning last year, at various locations around Putnam County.
The girl also witnessed a sexual encounter involving other adults, police said.
Fife was arrested Tuesday night on preliminary charges of three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and one count of disseminating obscene matter or performance to a minor.
Fife was being held at the Putnam County Jail with no bond.
Police said more arrests are possible.
