INDIANAPOLIS -- Tuesday marked the 14 year anniversary of the second longest tornado track in Indiana's history.
The September 20, 2002 tornadoes moved through rural and urban parts of Indiana for 112 miles, according to the National Weather service.
That tornado track reached F3 intensity in Ellettsville, Martinsville and Greenwood with winds of at least 160 mph.
The state's longest tornado track was in Monticello on April 3, 1974.
We remember this as parts of the state are still recovering from a series of 8 tornadoes that touched down in August, leaving behind damage in multiple counties.
