Robbers get away with cash, lottery tickets from Indy gas station

INDIANAPOLIS - During a northeast-side gas station robbery, police said two armed men took cash and a lottery ticket dispenser.

Indianapolis police (IMPD) said sometime after 1 a.m. Thursday, two black men wearing masks entered the Thornton gas station near Pendleton Pike and East Shadeland Avenue on the city's northeast side.

Witnesses said the two men held up the store at gunpoint and got away with an undisclosed amount of money, plus a dispenser that contained lottery tickets.

One of the men was described as wearing a red mask. There were no further details available on their descriptions.
