INDIANAPOLIS -- More books will be put in the hands of homeless children in Indianapolis thanks to your donations.

Sun King Brewery Hosted RTV6 General Manager Larry Blackerby Monday evening as he presented School on Wheels with a $25,000 check.

RTV6 and the Scripps Howard Foundation matched the $25,000 raised by private donors in the month of February.

The money raised will go to support education services for students who are homeless or otherwise in need throughout the county.

"For $50,000 we will be able to tutor 50 kids for an entire year. So 50 homeless children will receive academic support and wrap around services to continue their academic journeys," said Sally Bindley.
