RTV6 gets first peek at IPL downtown holiday window displays
Displays to be unveiled on Friday at noon

INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Power and Light officials gave RTV6 an exclusive sneak peek of their holiday window displays at their building on Monument Circle.
RTV6's Tanya Spencer was granted "top-secret" access to the popular, animated displays that create the holiday magic.
"We here at IPL are big on doing traditions and creating legacies," said IPL spokesperson Teri Tillery. "We want to recreate that old tradition. We want people to come downtown for that great holiday experience."
IPL window decorators said they will mix nostalgic and modern scenes in hopes that viewing the displays will become a family tradition years to come.
"We hope that people will remember what they saw the previous year and they can tell their grandkids, so the grandkids will look forward to seeing it," Tillery said.
The displays will officially be unwrapped Friday at noon in conjunction with the 50 th Anniversary of the Circle of Lights Celebration which airs on RTV6 at 7 p.m.
