Safe Haven Baby Boxes will soon be installed in central Indiana.
Two of the boxes were placed at fire departments in northern Indiana last month.
Indiana's safe haven law allows parents to legally and confidentially give up newborns at fire stations, police departments and hospitals.
The baby box acts as a quasi-incubator. Once a baby is place inside, it automatically locks and alerts first responders.

Monica Kelsey is the founder of Safe Haven Baby Boxes.
Kelsey was abandoned as an infant and has made it her personal mission to educate others on the safe haven law.
She believes the baby boxes will help save more lives if installed in the right place.
"Right now we're still studying the statistics because we want to make sure where we place these boxes is where they're needed, not just where people want them. You know a fire station in any town in America could call us and could say, 'Hey, I want a baby box,' but if they're not having an abandoned baby problem that probably wouldn't be the best place to put one," said Monica Kelsey, Safe Haven Baby Boxes Founder.
Kelsey says the next two baby boxes will be installed at locations in central Indiana within 60 days.
