INDIANAPOLIS -- Salesforce Inc. has released a first glimpse at what Indianapolis' new skyline will look like later this year.

The company filed permit drawings on Tuesday with the city of Indianapolis for its Salesforce Tower signage. The new signage will replace what is currently on top of Chase Tower in downtown Indianapolis.

Mayor Joe Hogsett announced last May that Salesforce would be making Indianapolis its regional headquarters. The company will be adding 800 jobs in the process.

The company also issued the following statement on Tuesday from Salesforce Chief Analytics Officer and CEO Marketing Cloud Bob Stutz:

“As the world’s fastest growing top 5 enterprise software company and one of the largest tech employers in Indiana, Salesforce is thrilled for the upcoming opening of Salesforce Tower Indianapolis— which will join the ranks of our other regional headquarters, including Salesforce Tower New York and our world-class global campus in San Francisco. With access to top local talent, we plan to further invest in Indiana and add 800 new jobs by 2021, making Salesforce Tower Indianapolis an amazing workplace for our employees and a hub where all are welcome.”

Salesforce has not said when the sign will go up.
