SCOTTSBURG, Ind. - Scottsburg police were looking for a man Friday who fled from officers after a domestic dispute.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on the 700 block of Belleview Street on reports of a suicidal male with a handgun.
They arrived to learn of a reported domestic dispute over child molestation involving Earl E. Hawkins, 43, who was said to be armed with a small caliber handgun.
Officers set up a perimeter and attempted to make contact with Hawkins, but were unsuccessful.
Police later learned that Hawkins had fled the scene.
Hawkins is wanted on two counts of child molestation. He is described as a 43-year-old while male with short red hair, standing 5'2" and weighing approximately 170 pounds.
