A 4-year-old child reported missing near New Palestine was found Saturday night after hours of searching.
Police from several agencies were looking for the 4-year-old, who had wlast been seen near a cornfield near 3795 W. County Road 300 South in New Palestine.
The child was reported missing around 7:30 p.m., according to police.
An IMPD helicopter had been dispatched to assist in the search for the child.
Just before midnight, Hancock County authorities confirmed that the child had been found safely.
