U.S. Army soldier and Avon native has gone missing, according to officials at the Fort Hood military base in Texas.
A report from KXXV-TV in Waco, TX said Dakota Stump, 19, was last seen Monday according to friends and family.
The 1st Cavalry Division Public Service Office said Stump has an Absent Without Leave Status and they are pursing every effort to find him. Fort Hood officials tell KXXV-TV they believe Private Stump isn't in danger, and may have just walked off post.
Friends and family said Stump drives a black ford Mustang with a red interior.
Those with information on Stump should call police immediately.
