IPS: Arlington High School lockdown lifted after several fights call for IMPD officers

INDIANAPOLIS – The lockdown on Arlington High School was lifted Thursday afternoon after several fights broke out inside the school, according to police.

Indianapolis police were called to the school shortly before noon to help assist with the situation.

There is no word on how the incident began and also no word on injuries. IMPD is investigating.

Several police cars could be seen outside of the building and reportedly 15-20 IMPD officers were called to the scene.
