HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. - Authorities said Interstate 69 was temporarily closed in both directions because of a suicidal person on an overpass Monday evening.
The Hamilton County Sheriff said the suicidal person was on the Brooks School Road overpass just after 9:30 p.m.
All lanes of the interstate were shut down between mile markers 205 and 210 during the incident, officers with the Noblesville Police Department said.
The person was taken into custody just before 10 p.m., but police said it could take some time for traffic to get back to normal.
