Sheriff's deputy arrested after disturbance at ex-girlfriend's house

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. - A Hancock County sheriff’s deputy was arrested Sunday after a disturbance at his ex-girlfriend's house, police said.
Deputy Scott Roeger was charged with residential entry, intimidation and criminal mischief after he did some damage by punching a wall inside his ex-girlfriend’s house, Hancock County Sheriff Mike Shepherd said.
Officials said he only hurt himself in the incident.
Roeger spent the night in the Hamilton County Jail and posted bond on Monday.
Roeger was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the case.
