LAKE STATION, Ind. - A Silver Alert was issued late Wednesday for a man missing from northern Indiana, state police said.
Indiana State Police were searching for Ronald Skertic, 66, of Lake Station, who was last seen Monday about 8:30 p.m. at the Park View Nursing Home.
Skertic was described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be in danger and in need of medical attention.
Police did not have a description of his clothing, but they did say he was traveling on foot.
Anyone with information about Ronald Skertic's whereabouts was asked to contact the Lake Station Police Department at 219-962-1186.
Lake Station is about 34 miles east of Chicago.
