INDIANAPOLIS -

A single-engine turbo plane on its very first flight landed on its nose near Eagle Creek this morning.

Officials said the plane's nose gear did not retract and the indicator light was not working.

The student and the instructor who were flying the plane were not hurt.

The landing is under investigation, Pike Township officials said.
