INDIANAPOLIS - Family, friends and students said goodbye Monday to a couple killed when their neighbor's home exploded on Indianapolis' south side.
The funeral for Jennifer and John "Dion" Longworth was held Monday morning at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, where the couple were married.

"It's very sad. It just seems like such a waste of wonderful people to die so young," said family friend Dotti Evans. "It was a very beautiful, meaningful service from the start to the end."
John Longworth worked at Indy Audio Labs, and Jennifer Longworth, a second-grade teacher at Greenwood Southwest Elementary School, where classes were canceled Monday.
There was no procession after the funeral. The burial was private.
Investigators have not determined a cause for the explosion that killed the couple, injured eight others and leveled several homes.
